The Kilargo IS3021si is a large finned compression-type silicone seal for door bottoms and meeting stiles of single and double action doors and door bottoms of roller-type doors. It seals gaps of 2024mm against medium and ambient temperature smoke, sound, dust, light, weather and vermin.

What It’s Used For

Reach for the IS3021si when the gap under a door is too big for standard seals warehouse and plant-room doors, garage and roller doors, and older doors over worn floors. The large silicone section bridges and cushions the oversized gap.

On garage and sectional doors it also teams with Kilargo brush seals to close the full perimeter against weather, dust and pests.

Smoke sealing BCA/NCC Specification C3.4. Conforms with Building Code of Australia (NCC) Specification C3.4 smoke sealing requirements. Smoke not flame is the biggest killer in building fires, and C3.4 sets out how door gaps must be sealed so escape routes stay clear of smoke.Acoustic tested AS 1191 / ISO 140-3 / ISO 10140-2. Acoustically tested in accordance with AS 1191, ISO 140-3 and ISO 10140-2 the laboratory standards for measuring sound insulation. Correctly sealed doors are the difference between a quiet room and a noisy one; this seal is proven to cut sound leakage through the door gaps.Antimicrobial option available. Also offered in an antimicrobial (AM) silicone version, formulated to inhibit the growth of bacteria and mould on the gasket surface specified in hospitals, aged care, laboratories and food-preparation areas.

Fire and smoke approvals apply to tested, proprietary door assemblies. Always confirm suitability for your specific door type and required rating with your fire door manufacturer or building certifier.
