The Kilargo IS4220si is a 125 mm panic threshold plate with an integral silicone compression bulb, made for outward-opening doors. The bulb seals against the closing door to block rain, draughts, light and noise, while vinyl bedding pads underneath complete an effective acoustic barrier. Compatible with panic-type exit devices (supplied by others).

What It’s Used For

The IS4220si is the standard detail for outward-opening exit doors fire stairs, egress doors and back-of-house exits where the door bottom must seal against weather, draughts and noise without a seal mounted on the door leaf interfering with panic hardware.

The replaceable silicone bulb (ISRG-4220si) keeps the threshold serviceable for the life of the building.

Carries independent product certifications (GVYI.R26629, GVWZ.R26629, GVWZ7.R26629), giving certifiers and building surveyors documented evidence of compliance.Acoustic tested AS 1191 / ISO 140-3 / ISO 10140-2. Acoustically tested in accordance with AS 1191, ISO 140-3 and ISO 10140-2 the laboratory standards for measuring sound insulation. Correctly sealed doors are the difference between a quiet room and a noisy one; this seal is proven to cut sound leakage through the door gaps.
