The Kilargo IS7060si is an astragal seal for the meeting stiles of double doors (single swing, one active leaf), sealing the centre gap against sound, smoke, light, dust and weather. Its thin fixing leg face-fixes to the door with no rebating, and can be checked to make way for locks and latches. Suits gaps of 2.510 mm.

What It’s Used For

Fit the IS7060si down the meeting stile of double doors office pairs, corridor doors, hall and auditorium doors wherever the centre gap between two leaves leaks noise, smoke or draughts. It works on both plain and rebated meeting stiles.

Combine with Kilargo perimeter seals (head and jambs) and an automatic bottom seal on each leaf for a fully sealed pair of doors.

Smoke tested AS 1530.7 / AS 6905. Holds medium-temperature (200C) smoke leakage approvals to AS 1530.7, compliant with AS 6905 on proprietary door assemblies. This is the test the BCA relies on for smoke doors it verifies the seal keeps hot, toxic smoke from leaking past the door for the required 30 minutes.Smoke sealing BCA/NCC Specification C3.4. Conforms with Building Code of Australia (NCC) Specification C3.4 smoke sealing requirements. Smoke not flame is the biggest killer in building fires, and C3.4 sets out how door gaps must be sealed so escape routes stay clear of smoke.Acoustic tested AS 1191 / ISO 140-3 / ISO 10140-2. Acoustically tested in accordance with AS 1191, ISO 140-3 and ISO 10140-2 the laboratory standards for measuring sound insulation. Correctly sealed doors are the difference between a quiet room and a noisy one; this seal is proven to cut sound leakage through the door gaps.Antimicrobial option available. Also offered in an antimicrobial (AM) silicone version, formulated to inhibit the growth of bacteria and mould on the gasket surface specified in hospitals, aged care, laboratories and food-preparation areas.
