The Kilargo KP3107SS is the KP3107 heavy-section intumescent fire seal with an incorporated offset brush pile for smoke resistance made for the proprietary aluminium bullnose meeting stiles of double-action fire doors. The 31 mm x 7 mm core handles fully developed fire; the brush wipes the stile gap against smoke every day.

What It’s Used For

The KP3107SS seals the meeting stiles of double-action (swing-through) fire door pairs, where gaskets can’t survive the two-way swing the offset brush pile sweeps the gap against smoke while the intumescent core protects it in fire.

Fitted into the proprietary aluminium bullnose stile sections of double-action fire doorsets.

Compliance & What It Means

Fire rated AS 1530.4 / AS 1905.1 (up to 2 hours). Fully tested to AS 1530.4 for up to 2 hours on proprietary fire door assemblies in accordance with AS 1905.1. In a fire, the intumescent core expands to many times its size and seals the gap, blocking flames, heat and hot toxic gases keeping the door assembly’s fire rating intact.

Fire and smoke approvals apply to tested, proprietary door assemblies. Always confirm suitability for your specific door type and required rating with your fire door manufacturer or building certifier.
