Lucas Silicone Skylight Coating #8900 – 5 Gallon Bucket

100% silicone based Lucas #8900 is a single part skylight coating intended for sealing and restoring aged fiberglass skylight panels. #8900 is an oxime neutral cure chemistry that is not corrosive to metals.

Lucas #8900 is manufactured from durable inorganic silicone elastomers, reinforcing pigments and silane adhesion promoters.

Application:

Mechanically mix prior to application. Surface to be coated must be dry and free of dirt or corrosion particles. All Joints, cracks and penetrations should be sealed with Lucas #8500 silicone sealant. For best results, two coats are recommended. Apply basecoat of #8900 at a rate of 1 gallon per 100 sq. ft. Allow coating to cure, typically 2 to 4 hours, then apply second coat at the rate of 1 gallon per 100 sq. ft. The second coat should be applied within 72 hours of the first coat. Use #8900 as it comes from the container, no thinning is necessary with this product.
