What’s the difference? The important difference is the FUNCTION. An Entrance set is keyed for entry doors (key outside, turn inside). A Privacy set has an inside turn or snib with an emergency release, for bathrooms and bedrooms. A Passage set does not lock at all it just latches the door, for hallways and cupboards. Ball and Bell are simply two knob styles with the same function.
