The Kilargo IS1046AMsi is an antimicrobial silicone compression seal with self-adhesive backing in a 50-metre roll, mounted against door stops around the perimeters of single-swing doors. The rib-reinforced bulb compresses to seal 35 mm gaps against smoke, sound and draughts no kerf or machining required.

What It’s Used For

The fastest antimicrobial retrofit in the range: peel, press onto clean door stops, done. Use it around single-swing doors in hospitals, clinics, aged care and food facilities to seal smoke, sound and draughts with hygiene-grade material.

Its fire and smoke approvals also qualify it for proprietary fire and smoke doorsets.

Antimicrobial silicone. The silicone is compounded with an antimicrobial additive that inhibits the growth of bacteria and mould on the gasket surface. This grade is specified for hygiene-critical environments hospitals, aged care, medical suites, laboratories, commercial kitchens and food-preparation areas.Fire tested AS 1530.4 / AS 1905.1. Fire tested to AS 1530.4 (the Australian standard fire-resistance test) in accordance with AS 1905.1, the standard for fire-rated doorsets. In plain terms: this seal has been proven on proprietary fire door assemblies, so it can be specified on fire doors without compromising the door’s fire rating.Certified GVYI.R26629, GVWZ.R26629, GVWZ7.R26629. Carries independent product certifications (GVYI.R26629, GVWZ.R26629, GVWZ7.R26629), giving certifiers and building surveyors documented evidence of compliance.Smoke tested AS 1530.7 / AS 6905. Holds medium-temperature (200C) smoke leakage approvals to AS 1530.7, compliant with AS 6905 on proprietary door assemblies. This is the test the BCA relies on for smoke doors it verifies the seal keeps hot, toxic smoke from leaking past the door for the required 30 minutes.Acoustic tested AS 1191 / ISO 140-3 / ISO 10140-2. Acoustically tested in accordance with AS 1191, ISO 140-3 and ISO 10140-2 the laboratory standards for measuring sound insulation. Correctly sealed doors are the difference between a quiet room and a noisy one; this seal is proven to cut sound leakage through the door gaps.
