The Kilargo IS4050s is a Grade 304 stainless steel threshold plate with a No.4 brushed finish impervious to most chemicals, solvents, cleaning fluids and disinfectants, and suitable for external environments. Used with Kilargo door bottom seals to stop rain, draughts and smoke at the doorway.

What It’s Used For

Specify the IS4050s where an aluminium threshold won’t survive commercial kitchens, food processing, laboratories, hospitals, breweries and coastal buildings. Stainless steel shrugs off wash-down chemicals and disinfectants that attack lesser finishes.

Pair with a Kilargo door bottom seal (the antimicrobial silicone range suits the same environments) for a complete hygienic door bottom detail.

Fire tested AS 1530.4 / AS 1905.1. Fire tested to AS 1530.4 (the Australian standard fire-resistance test) in accordance with AS 1905.1, the standard for fire-rated doorsets. In plain terms: this seal has been proven on proprietary fire door assemblies, so it can be specified on fire doors without compromising the door’s fire rating.

Fire and smoke approvals apply to tested, proprietary door assemblies. Always confirm suitability for your specific door type and required rating with your fire door manufacturer or building certifier.
