The Kilargo IS7061 is a twin-blade astragal seal for the meeting stiles of double doors (single swing, one active leaf), sealing on two faces of the door surface for proven smoke and acoustic performance. The thin fixing leg face-fixes without rebating (where gap allows) and can be checked around locks and latches. Suits gaps of 2.56 mm.

What It’s Used For

Use the IS7061 where the meeting stile of a door pair must achieve real smoke or acoustic ratings corridor smoke doors, ward pairs, office and education doors. The two-face sealing action outperforms single-blade astragals on both smoke leakage and sound.

Works with plain or rebated stiles. For the neatest corners where the astragal meets perimeter seals, add the matching ISRG7061 corner seal.

Smoke tested AS 1530.7 / AS 6905. Holds medium-temperature (200C) smoke leakage approvals to AS 1530.7, compliant with AS 6905 on proprietary door assemblies. This is the test the BCA relies on for smoke doors it verifies the seal keeps hot, toxic smoke from leaking past the door for the required 30 minutes.Smoke sealing BCA/NCC Specification C3.4. Conforms with Building Code of Australia (NCC) Specification C3.4 smoke sealing requirements. Smoke not flame is the biggest killer in building fires, and C3.4 sets out how door gaps must be sealed so escape routes stay clear of smoke.Acoustic tested AS 1191 / ISO 140-3 / ISO 10140-2. Acoustically tested in accordance with AS 1191, ISO 140-3 and ISO 10140-2 the laboratory standards for measuring sound insulation. Correctly sealed doors are the difference between a quiet room and a noisy one; this seal is proven to cut sound leakage through the door gaps.Durability 100,000+ cycles. Durability tested through more than 100,000 open-and-close cycles, so it keeps performing in busy commercial and residential doorways.
