The Kilargo IS7195si is a heavy-traffic acoustic perimeter seal fitted to the head and jambs of door frames (with or without stops) on steel or timber frames, sealing gaps of 015 mm the widest range in the 7000 series. Its press-on aluminium cover strip conceals fixings, and the cavity behind it can even carry low-voltage cabling.

What It’s Used For

Built for institutional doorways that get slammed, kicked and trolleyed hospital corridors, school classrooms, correctional facilities and TAFE workshops while still delivering high-performance acoustic sealing.

The 15mm capacity makes it the rescue seal for older frames with oversized or inconsistent gaps that slimmer perimeter seals can’t bridge. Fits with or without door stops.

In plain terms: this seal has been proven on proprietary fire door assemblies, so it can be specified on fire doors without compromising the door’s fire rating.Certified GVYI.R26629, GVWZ.R26629, GVWZ7.R26629. Carries independent product certifications (GVYI.R26629, GVWZ.R26629, GVWZ7.R26629), giving certifiers and building surveyors documented evidence of compliance.Smoke tested AS 1530.7 / AS 6905. Holds medium-temperature (200C) smoke leakage approvals to AS 1530.7, compliant with AS 6905 on proprietary door assemblies. This is the test the BCA relies on for smoke doors it verifies the seal keeps hot, toxic smoke from leaking past the door for the required 30 minutes.Acoustic tested AS 1191 / ISO 140-3 / ISO 10140-2. Acoustically tested in accordance with AS 1191, ISO 140-3 and ISO 10140-2 the laboratory standards for measuring sound insulation. Correctly sealed doors are the difference between a quiet room and a noisy one; this seal is proven to cut sound leakage through the door gaps.Durability 100,000+ cycles.
